2. Sample answer
Speaking of the films, I’ve seen a huge number of them from different countries and enjoyed many genres, but my favorite would be Naruto, a Japanese action animation. I came across it when I was 13 on Bibi channel. The lead role is Naruto, a teenager with a motivation of gaining acknowledgement from everyone in the village, and his target is to become a skilled ninja, and later, a respectful Hokage. Now I want to list some of the reasons why the anime captures people’s attention so much, well including me.
First, the plot of the film covers different perspectives about peace and war. One might be that a person who shall know the value of peace if undergoes the pain of war, the other is that people would live in harmony when they put effort into understanding one another more. Some people may think this is too political for an anime, but I just want to focus on what makes me like this film. As I mentioned a few seconds ago, it does give 2 contrary opinions in the same film, but it doesn’t really eradicate each other, showing that if a society wants to develop, it must consist of diverse ideologies.
Moreover, what makes Naruto a legend is the sophistication of the character development. There is a protagonist, an antagonist, and also an antihero, so it doesn’t stop at a typical hero movie, at least in my mind. One more thing I would like to add is that Naruto helps me realize a lot about Asia’s culture. Beside the peace and war theme, the anime also highlights loneliness, the desire of wanting to be in a group and how personal sacrifice can boost the greater good for a community. In short, I love the series.
3. Đề bài và câu trả lời mẫu IELTS Speaking Part 3 có sử dụng từ vựng về phim
What kind of movies do Vietnamese people like to watch?
Hollywood blockbusters, I’m 100% certain about that. I could name a few like Iron Man, Fast and Furious, or Godzilla. The similarity of these movies is that they have satisfying fighting scenes and flashy special effects
Are movie stars important to a movie?
They could be a solid foundation to promote a production, but the core of a movie should be the plot and somewhat the soundtrack. Home Alone didn’t have a popular cast but it still made its move on the Hollywood journey though
Are foreign movies popular in Vietnam?
I think Vietnam is quite open when it’s related to movies from other countries. For example, Marvel’s series was a smash hit to all the youngsters out there that even the sequels of the main storyline make up most of the showtime when they are released
Is it important that a country has its own film industry?
Well, I’m not an expert to talk about this huge industry but it sure plays an important role for a country. We can use this art form to enhance other industries. For instance, a Korean drama Descendants of the Sun contributed an increase in the tourists visiting Korea in 2016, so I think it’s in terms of the economy and culture-wise.
